What services does Correa Crawford & Associates offer to help Mexican investors enter the U.S. market?

Correa Crawford offers four core service areas: CFO Services (financial vision, budgeting, forecasting, and binational KPI dashboards), Tax Strategy (cross-border tax design, entity mapping, and treaty optimization), Accounting (monthly closings, financial statements, and consolidation reports), and Bi-National Planning (cash movement plans, compliance calendars, and updated tax exposure forecasts). The firm was founded in 2009, has served over 900 clients, and operates from offices in San Antonio, TX and Monterrey, NL, México.

Cross-border investing requires expertise in two tax systems simultaneously. Mexican entrepreneurs benefit particularly from bilingual professionals who understand both tax systems. Correa Crawford’s founding partner, Sara Correa, earned her accounting degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey and revalidated her credentials in the United States, giving the firm a unique command of both jurisdictions. As one client put it: “With Correa Crawford & Associates, we have found the tranquility and security for all accounting needs in this country. The peace of mind of knowing that things are being done well is priceless.”

No. As a Mexican national, you don’t need an SSN to form a business entity in the U.S. However, you will need two key tax identifiers: an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) for personal tax purposes, and an EIN (Employer Identification Number) for your business entity. The American tax system requires that everyone conducting business or earning income in the U.S. have a proper tax identification number, and the ITIN and EIN are the two primary options for foreign nationals.
